PLANTING FORESTS

Environmental protection and environmentally friendly forestry - these are key principles in the operations of JSC Lindeks, and since 1993, the company has planted trees each year so as to renew the country forests. Between 1993 and 2000, Lindeks planted forest stands that are between 110 and 150 hectares in size each year, doing so at Ludza, Bauska and Talsi.

A stable tradition for Lindeks is taking part in a tree planting programme during which one hectare of forest is planted each year.
