Aigars Ķimenis CHAIRMAN OF THE COUNCIL From 1996 to 1998 Aigars Ķimenis was Director of SIA LAKO AB. In 1998 he became Chairman of the Board of AS Baltic Sea Port, and since 2002 he has been holding the position of Chairman of the Council of this company. In February 2004 he was elected as Chairman of the Board of AS Lindeks, and since September 2007 he has been fulfilling duties of Chairman of the Council. During the free time he participates in the country rally, hunting, plays basketball. Since 2000 he is the Rotary Club member.

Arvīds Āboliņš DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE COUNCIL Arvīds Āboliņš started working at SIA Linda as Director in 1991. In 1993, when AS Lindeks was established, he was appointed Commercial Director for sawn products export. Following company restructuring he was appointed Vice President of production in 1999. In 2004 he returned to AS Lindeks as an advisor to Chairman of the Board and was appointed a Member of the Board of AS Lindeks. In September 2007 he was elected Deputy Chairman of the Council. His hobbies include hunting and trap-shooting.

 

Ilmārs Āboliņš CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD Ilmārs Āboliņš started working at SIA Linda as Technical Director in 1991, later becoming Executive Director of AS Lindeks. From 1999 to 2007 he was Executive Director of SIA Unitimber Latvia and Deputy Director and Executive Director of SIA Stora Enso Timber Trading. On 18 January 2007 he returned to AS Lindeks as Strategic Analysis and Development Director. In September 2007 he was elected Chairman of the Board. His hobby is hunting.

 

Andris Čikuls director of the Finance and Bookkeeping Division Andris Čikuls joined "Linda" Ltd. as director of computerisation in 1993. He later became director of the company's Economic Analysis Division and then vice president for finances. After the merger of the companies in 2000, Andris Čikuls became the vice president for finances of JSC "Lindeks", also serving on the company's board. From 2003 until 2005 he worked as finance director for "Stats Invest" Ltd., but then he returned to JSC "Lindeks", where he now directs the Finance and Bookkeeping Division. Andris Čikuls has previously served as a senior researcher at the University of Latvia and as a department director at the computer software company "Robertson & Blum Corp". He possesses a higher education from the University of Latvia (1981), and a doctorate in engineering from the Moscow Aviation Institute. During his free time, Andris Čikuls likes to read. He was elected a member of the Board in September 2007

 

Ingrīda Akurātere chief bookkeeper Ingrīda Akurātere became the chief bookkeeper for "Linda" Ltd. in 1991, and when JSC "Lindeks" was established on July 14, 1993, she became the new stock company's chief bookkeeper. She is a 1973 graduate of Latvian State University, with a degree in economics. Ingrīda Akurātere is a member of the Latvian Association of Bookkeepers, which has certified her as a professional bookkeeper. During her free time, she enjoys travel.

 

Jānis Leitāns Director, Eastern European Resources Procurement and Manufacturing Department, member of the board Jānis Leitāns directed the Manufacturing Division of "Linda" Ltd. from 1991 until 1994. He served as director of "Piebalgas" Ltd. from 1994 until 2003 and was a vice president at JSC "Lindeks" in 2002 and 2003. He has previously worked for the Bauska MRS, where he was technical director of the Bauska MIH (1981-1982). Later he was the director of the Unified Sector of the Bauska MRS (1982-1989), as well as director of the Manufacturing Division of the Bauska MRS (1987-1991). Jānis Leitāns is a 1981 graduate of the Latvian Agricultural Academy. During his free time he likes to read and to go hunting.

 

Kaspars Poišs SAWN MATERIALS DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR Kaspars Poišs has been the Sawn Materials Department Director of AS Lindeks since February 2006. He studied economy at LLU, later at LU. He completed a year of training in the USA. Until February 2006 he was Director of the company EX-VALE. In September 2007 he was elected a member of the Board. His hobbies are hunting and travelling.

 

Mārīte Mickeviča Office Manager Mārīte Mickeviča started working at SIA Linda as the archivist on 6 April 1998. In November 2000, when SIA Linda and AS Lindeks merged, she combined the duties of archivist with those of secretary. On August 1, 2006 she became the office manager for AS Lindeks . Her hobby is gardening.
